Welcome to our new offices at Mercury House
Moving into Mercury house was a solid step for Elite Pest Management. It gave us greener credentials because the building is environmentally friendly. It runs on solar power primarily and has eco taps, lighting and is designed to hold heat. Being eco-savvy influenced our choice in office space and anything we can do to reduce our carbon footprint is actively encouraged throughout the company.
Mercury House also gives us an excellent welcome area that is easy to find and has great parking facilities just outside the front doors. It is nice and convenient for employees and clients alike. You have to keep the workers happy – always plenty of drinks and biscuits on hand!
Our Eco Mission
The office move was heavily motivated by our targets within our coporate social responsibility mandate. Our outlook involves doing things more efficiently and being part of the change that creates sustainability. The energy B rated offices get most of their electrivity via solar panels and offer free charging points for electric vehicles.
A sustainable rainwater harvesting system ensures water is reused within the building. Lighting is motion activated and timed to go off to limit waste. The next step for our company will be looking at hybrid vehicles and taking more of our everyday paperwork online, giving clients an easy to use digital option.
