We are delighted to welcome Scott and Colette to the EPM team.
Some of our clients will be familiar with Scott. He joined us at a busy time in June but we have only just got around to publicising his arrival. He has settled in extremely well and delivers Elite Pest Managements ‘award winning’ level of service to West Yorkshire and surrounding areas. A considerable amount of the banter in the work Whatsapp group now comes from Scott…we are certain this is a good thing.
Colette joined us this week so is currently getting kitted up with the essentials and donning her new uniform for the first time. Colette will be the primary point of contact for clients in Essex as we expand further south. She has a wealth of experience already in delivering pest control.
We asked them three questions to put them on the spot and see how they came to be part of the EPM team.
Q1 - What made you get into the industry?
Scott – I was influenced by a very successful person in my family who started out in pest control and who went on to be CEO in this field.
Colette – I fell into it really. I worked in care with vulnerable adults. There was little career progression and some of the behaviour I had to handle was quite violent. I wanted to try something new so I put my all into a new career, trained up and never looked back. I really enjoy it.
Q2 - What do you like about pest management?
Scott – I like being able to attend a variety of businesses and meet the challenges that each one faces.
Colette – The variety it provides and meeting new clients. I like to get to the bottom of a problem and the journey involved in getting to it.
Q3 - What is something unique or interesting about you?
Scott – I spend many weekends travelling to Paisley Scotland with my sons to watch our football team St Mirren.
Colette – I can deadlift 140kg and am hoping to do a power lifting competition next year. Sometimes I train at 4:30/5am in the morning as I train best first thing.
